TAG’s end-to-end visualization and monitoring platform can now run in Google Cloud

TAG today announced that it has joined the Google Cloud Partner Advantage program as a Build Partner. The Google Cloud Partner Advantage program is designed to help partners deliver customer excellence while driving growth by providing access to resources, tools, and support from Google Cloud. As a Google Cloud Build Partner, TAG customers will have the opportunity to run the company’s full Realtime Media Performance Platform fully on Google Cloud increasing agility, remote capabilities, asset utilization and the potential to reduce operational costs.

TAG’s Realtime Media Performance platform is a multi-level solution that monitors, aggregates, manages and utilizes data-driven viewer analytics to provide users with the insight required to build performant linear media systems. Serving as the platform’s foundation, TAG’s Multi-Channel Monitoring (MCM visualization system monitors every type of signal from live production through OTT delivery and supports hundreds of sources including all the latest formats and transport methods.

The Media Control System (MCS) level serves as an aggregation engine, system manager and orchestrator for data collected by the MCM. Using an open-source paradigm, the MCS exposes every piece of data probed and monitored by the MCM to third-party analytic and visualization applications such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana and Prometheus enabling DevOps to use the information for forensic or predictive analysis to design a precise and pristine viewer experience.

Key benefits include:

  • Scalability
  • One platform for all applications
  • High input / output density
  • Easy API and integration
  • Dynamic license sharing / OPEC
  • Maximum asset utilization
  • Adaptive monitoring capabilities
  • Support of all cloud formats and protocols
  • Remote production capabilities
