Latest Tech from TAG Confirms Signal Integrity for Greater Confidence and Optimal Viewer Experience

IBC attendees will get a view of TAG Video Systems’ latest trailblazing technology. TAG is presenting its Content Matching technology at IBC, a unique process that ensures content is delivered in real time to its intended destination without errors or discrepancies. TAG’s Content Matching, winner of a Best of Show award at NAB 2023, identifies potential issues and confirms signal integrity for increased broadcaster confidence and a high-quality viewer experience.

Content Matching creates a unique fingerprint for video stream to match them across the entire media distribution path. It can accurately identify and correlate audio and video uniqueness regardless of the resolution, bitrate, or framerate, thus enabling a match between two or more points in the workflow. This new technology notifies users when the first content inconsistency occurs allowing them to get to the root cause of problems faster and troubleshoot more efficiently. Workflow complexity is dramatically reduced, and less eyes-on-glass are required to deliver quality content.

Content Matching can be applied to the most requested applications including frame-accurate latency measurement, SCTE ad insertion, AV alignment and audio channel drift validation. Combined with TAG’s flagship software-only monitoring and visualization platform, Content Matching is a powerful tool that adds yet another layer of assurance to TAG’s robust Multi-Channel Monitoring (MCM) and provides another resource for the invaluable data collected and aggregated by TAG’s Media Control System (MCS).
